HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition series - or, The Prettiest Computer Ever

Okay, so as a rule, I don't blog at work.  But I just had to take 10 minutes to show you guys this, in case you haven't seen it before.

This is the Vivienne Tam (yes, as in the designer) edition of the HP Mini 210.  It was showcased at her New York Spring 2010 Fashion Week show.  Models, wearing her designer (clothing) pieces, walked up and down the runway, carrying this.

Honestly, when I saw this, I had to gasp.  Have you ever seen a laptop that's so pretty?  I mean, okay, Apple puts out some pretty sleek pieces - and you could call them pretty.  You could, I guess...

Would you look at the double happiness symbol on the "enter" key?  Hahaha...I'm usually only this excited by pretty dresses, sweaters, and handbags.  Suffice it to say, I want one.  These sweet little (it's a netbook, so it's small and light - think of it as a clutch that you can use to whip up a report, powerpoint presentation, or catch up on the latest blog posts) machines start at $599, but really, fully loaded (with mobile internet capabilities), you're talking more in the range of $1100+.  Hahaha...makes me wonder if I have any dresses with the tags still attached that I could return....  ;)

  1. Technology like this goes obsolete so quickly. It's kind of sobering to know that it will eventually go out of fashion as well.

That said, I do like how it looks, and the specs aren't bad...
