I See London, I See France... (A Quickie Review)

Hi everyone, remember me?

*sheepish grin*

Sorry I've been so quiet for the last month or so - life around the holidays is always a bit of a roller-coaster, but I thought I'd take a few minutes on this rainy Sunday morning to show y'all my latest wishlisted item:

Brume Chemise ($68, shown in a size Medium)

I'm so behind on all my blog-reading, I don't know if anyone's reviewed this already. So I apologize if someone already has. Anyway, there have been a couple of chemises and house robes I've seen that I've been tempted to wear as a dress. This one sports a super-full, super-fun and girlie skirt that practically begs you to take a twirl in it.

I think I love it.

Wow, do I look over-excited, or what?

The scoop neckline is a teeny bit low for my small chest, but I'm okay with it.

Here's a side view, where you can see the neckline and arms are a bit large:

My annoyingly inconsistent (but much-loved) Anaheim Ducks are throwing their annual Casino Night in January, and this year's theme is "Country Fair." I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I imagine throwing on a belt and a jean jacket over this along with some cowboy boots for a "country fair" look:

Yeehaw!

I also love it under the Refined Cord Shirtdress:

(I guess this is the face I make when I'm showing off my underwear?)

Totally wishlisted (and shortlisted too, haha!) for purchase in the near future.

Allrighty - I'm off to go for a rainy jog (I know it's weird, but I totally love running in the rain) and run some holiday errands. I hope to be back soon!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  3. I do not like running in any weather condition...I DO like that chemise though, pretty, pretty and totally perfect for a country fair with the belt and boots.

  5. Love it under the Refined Cord Shirtdress (which I normally don't like--weird, I know, since everyone loves this dress but I never cared for it--until I saw it with that chemise. Now I want it bad!).

Hope you had a good run!
