Colorblind Librarian? (OOTD)

Hello all!

I hope you're all well and that you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Just a quick OOTD post tonight, as I'm exhausted and need to get some sleep!

Welp. A new week brings about an attempt at creating a new outfit out of old stuff. I hadn't worn my Bits-Of-Pearl Blouse in a while, so I decided to take it out for a spin. I wanted to try it with something I'd never worn it with before, so I pulled out my good ol' Peppered & Striped Skirt, seeing as how it was going to be grey and overcast and...well, kind of autumn-like in the middle of spring.

I threw on my new Oh, Hello Friend cardigan to stay warm, because I'm a California girl through and through, and I get downright cold when it's less than 72 degrees outside.

Yep.

...I have no idea if this outfit matches or not. I think it does, but...to be honest...I'm really not sure. I'm also not sure if I ended up looking kind of like a librarian.

*shrug* Oh well.

Anthropologie Sawtooth Myrtle Heels (Fall, 2010...ruffle-y heels here and here)

Have you ever put together an outfit you're not 100% sure about?

I'd like to congratulate the Vancouver Canucks for making the the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 1994. I must admit, I have a soft spot for Canadian teams (well, only when they're not playing my team, haha...) so I wouldn't mind seeing them go on to win it all. Plus, my husband is from Vancouver, and it would be a dream come true for him. And it would be the first championship for them in their entire 40-year existence.

And so, I'll leave off with yet another crazy, nutty Canuck fan video...hope you like it as much as I did!

(...don't ask me why the goalie in the video is wearing a Doan jersey. I have no idea.)

Enjoy! And thanks so much for reading!

  16. I think it matches awesomely! Although I wonder what that outfit would look like to a colorblind person... all grey I suppose. LOL

If you really wanted to go for the librarian look you should have worn your glasses instead 8-)

  18. I'm from Vancouver too, so thanks for the shout out to our team. Shame about the Ducks, but they've won a cup. 40 years is a long time to wait! Teams from warm sunny places should not win Stanley Cups before teams in the Great White North! You already have awesome weather. Let us have ice sports. Hope your husband is sporting his blue/green colours in support. (BTW, love your outfit. The skirt is adorable)

  20. Love this outfit.  I'm confused as well. Does Oh Hello Friend sell clothes not online? I thought as Etsy it was only jewelry?
