Yesterday was possibly the hottest day of the year, so far, in San Diego. Quite literally, when I stepped out to take these photos, I was hit by a hot blast of air, as though I were stepping into an oven. Layer over that, some pretty uncharacteristic humidity - preceded by a thunderstorm in the morning - and you've got San Diego trying to pretend it's upstate New York in summer or something.
Nothing against upstate New York weather, of course. Just, it's not normal for here.
Anyway, I was looking for a way to stay comfortable without having to resort to the A/C, so I went with the Cloud Cover Poncho (last blogged here) - flipped upside down.
Hope you're staying cool and comfortable today!
