Pssssst! (Nordstrom Anniversary Sale)

It's pre-sale time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My shopping ban has officially ended (but at the rate I'm going, will pick right back up in a bit). For those of you wondering, here are the details:

Pre-Sale is open to all Nordstrom Card and Nordstrom Debit Card holders (you don't actually have to charge to the card to access the presale. Purchases can be made using other forms of currency). It began yesterday and will continue until the day the sale opens to the public (July 20th). If you're not a cardholder and would still like to pre-sale, you can open an account anytime and access the pre-sale. Also, if you think credit cards are the devil (probably not too far off the mark), then you can open a Nordstrom Mod account, which allows you to draw from your bank account, but still provides you all the benefits of the Nordstrom Card rewards system.

Like last year, Pre-Sale purchases will be available immediately to take home. No waiting 'til July 20th to get your hands on your pretty finds!

Unlike last year, Pre-Sale can be conducted online!!! A note of caution, though - there are some items that are not listed online (such as Michele watches) which you will only be able to see in-stores, or order via an SA by phone.

Why Pre-Sale at all? Well, because the hot items will fly. Pre-sale opened yesterday and already there are several things that have sold out (*ahem* Chloe 'Marcie' handbag in dusty rose suede...).

And in case you were wondering, the Marc Jacobs Karlie handbag I got last year is available again this year!

So, in summary, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale pre-sale is happening now and you must have a Nordstrom card (credit or debit) account to access it.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - which is the sale that puts fall and pre-fall merchandise on sale in advance of the season - is opening to the public on Friday, July 20th and will continue to Sunday, August 5th.

Brands on sale include Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone, Kate Spade New York, Rebecca Minkoff, Theory, Vince, Free People, Michael Kors, Frye, La Mer, Philosophy, Khiel's, and many, many more.

The last word? This sale is the main reason I've been on a shopping ban on and off these past couple months. I needed to save up for it. And now?

Oh...now... (suffice it to say, a sale haul post will follow...)

  1. Can you tell me if the Felicity & Coco High/Low Hem Dress is on sale? I am not a card holder, but my mother is. If this dress is on sale, I will have access it for me.
    Thanks!

  4. I can't wait to see your haul. I'm making myself wait until the 20th so I don't go crazy (I'm on a shopping ban as well) but there are definitely a lot of items that caught my eye in the catalogue.

  5. I already did some damage, returned a splurge and am wearing my new Nike Airmax shoes-which are very comfortable and never go on sale. I am an Anniversary Sale veteran (and as a former Nordstrom employee, I know the drill all too well). Each year I buy a pair of shoes for both of my boys (yesterday was high tops for one, casual shoes for the other) and they each get a tee shirt or hoodie, which is a treat since their clothes normally come from Old Navy. I picked up the Hinge ruffle trim sweater in plum, a north face 1/4 zip fleece - and some unmentionables. My splurge - which came home only to be returned due to a buyer's remorse was the Vince leather dress in chocolate brown. I should never have tried it on. Even on sale, it is out of my budget. I am waiting for the gorgeous new Coach Legacy handbags about to debut next week-which is a much more practical purchase. Oh well....such is life. I can't wait to see what you scored!

  8. Just called my store and the Karlie sold out the first day. Luckily, it was still available online! Is it a heavy bag? Do the shoulder straps stay on the shoulder? Thanks Carol!
